I may be a little biased here since I have an English Bulldog of my own.
But I thought it would be fun to share some adorable “bullie” wedding photos from around the web along with some tips for including your dog in your wedding.
Including Furry Friends is Becoming More Common
“A pet plays an important role in a couple’s life and for many pet parents, family festivities would not be complete without their pet’s involvement,” says John D’Ariano, President of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS). “As a result, it’s becoming more common for couples to customize their wedding parties to include family, friends, and furry companions.”
TIP: Find an experienced photographer
If you are planning to have your best friend (dog) star in your wedding photographs, be sure to ask your photographer if they have worked with animals before and if not keep look for one that has. It can make all the difference in the world!
“Romeo” steals the show in these wedding photos from Zoom Theory Photography! How on earth did they manage to get a bulldog puppy to be still and pose so well?
Coordinate your attire
This couple chose to coordinate their bulldog’s attire with the groom by having him wear an adorable bow tie.
TIP: While you can find tons of places selling bow ties for dogs online, Rover the Pet Boutique has an excellent selection! You’re sure to find something to coordinate with your wedding’s colors and/or theme.
